Attaching logs and code from the hello world app with both a flutter package and native pod example below. We would need to be able to use native pods with our project and execute the xcodebuild command, and was hoping there might be a solution for this. To verify this was present in other apps, I tried importing the IQKeyboardManagerSwift pod into the hello world app created from flutter. Users/user/Documents/Projects/Flutter Test/test_app/ios/Runner/AppDelegate.swift:3:8: error: no such module 'IQKeyboardManagerSwift' working-directory/Users/user/Documents/Projects/Flutter\ Test/test_app/ios -import-objc-header /Users/user/Documents/Projects/Flutter\ Test/test_app/ios/Runner/Runner-Bridging-Header.h -pch-output-dir /Users/user/Documents/Projects/Flutter\ Test/test_app/build/ios/SharedPrecompiledHeaders -parse-as-library -module-name Runner -num-threads 8 -o /Users/user/Documents/Projects/Flutter\ Test/test_app/build/ios/Runner.build/Release-iphoneos/Runner.build/Objects-normal/arm64/AppDelegate.o
Ios pod lock in flutter install#
Modifying the standard flutter project configurations to use the bug/Pods-Runner.release corrects the issue in the pod install phase, but still yields the same result. This appears to be due to errors with the pod integration in the custom configuration set up. However, running the 'xcodebuild' command in terminal or android studio results in missing modules for any native pods.

In order for CocoaPods integration to work at all, please either set the base configurations of the target Runner toTarget Support Files/Pods-Runner/ or include theTarget Support Files/Pods-Runner/ in your build configuration (Flutter/Release.xcconfig ).Īlbeit experiencing these errors, executing a pod install, pod update and running the app from both the Xcode play, Android studio play button and 'flutter run' allow the app to run correctly on device. CocoaPods did not set the base configuration of your project because your project already has a custom config set. Follow this question to receive notifications.

Pod install is taking a long time inside the ios directory in flutter and it freezes around when it says it is installing Installing gRPC-Core (1.28.2). I have attached a copy of the error below Add details and clarify the problem by editing this post. We are attempting to integrate some native pods into our flutter based iOS application and have found errors with the default pod configuration generated by flutter.
